Red beech hedge is a species that stands out for its beautiful brown leaves in winter dormancy - which transform to red leaves in summer.

The red beech hedge - addition as a large or small hedge plant

Fagus sylvatica 'Atropunicea', also known as the red beech (in Zundert: rooie buuk), is an evergreen species of beech recognisable by its dark red (sometimes purplish) leaves. The species is deciduous but not evergreen and we grow these entirely from seed to pot plant, we control the entire process of this plant at our nursery.
